I have the honour to suggest that unless

Messrs. Aston Webb and E. Ingress Bell are willing to leave

me to arrange all matters, of which they have not already

given details, relative to minor construction, decoration &c.,

of the superstructure; they should send out a specification

without delay, in order that a contract or contracts may be

prepared forthwith and continuous progress of the work en-

sured. Should the Architects decide that they have given suf-

ficient details you will greatly oblige by instructing me to

prepare specification.
